Scottish Techno powerhouse Mha Iri’s latest EP, Neon Storm is out today on Adam Beyer’s label Drumcode. This is not the first time she has released on Drumcode, as she is now quite the regular to the label, with other releases such as Drumcode’s debut Elevate compilation, A-Sides Vol. 12 with her track Bell, her debut EP The Unexpected and 2024’s Bombay EP.

Neon Storm is a three-track ep, titular track Neon Storm opens the EP with dystopian elements and primitive power. The production elements of the track include robot vocals and a building, rippling doppler. Track two, Moving Machines continues the futuristic energy with galloping techno and a chopped melody reminiscent of 90s style techno. Closing track No Return has a restless onslaught of thudding beats and rattling hi-hats against an alien-like melodic vocal.

Neon Storm follows the Edinburgh based producers success of her early 2025 shows at London’s Fabric, and Amsterdam’s Gashouder for Awakenings New Year event, as well as an Australian tour in 2024 and releases on labels such as Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid and Patrick Topping’s Trick.
