UK based DJ, producer and instrumentalist Lawrence Hart has announced his debut LP Come In Out Of The Rain on Domino’s Double Six label, due to be released on 4^th April, which will be his first full-length album under his solo dance music alias, but not his first as a musician and writer.

The 12-track album is said to be an ‘emotional garage record, euphoric and therapeutic’,journeying through cinematic melancholia, soaring synths and moments of fragility peppered with forgotten vocal samples.

Alongside nine new tracks, it includes his 2024 Double Six singles NoMoreLuv4U’, Hear Ur Heartbeat and Just Belong, which won tastemaker support from the likes of Lauren Laverne, Danny Howard, Jaguar, Rinse, and many more.

Hart’s style expresses his science-savvy tech skills with emotion-evoking vibes and dancefloor fuel, creating a sound that’s club-ready and perfect for immersing yourself into: ‘A big thing for me on this record is balancing the more mechanical and technical side of my music with the heart and euphoria.’

The first single from the album has also just been released, Closer To You on 17^th January. There’s a pitch-shifted vocal sample over a layer of euphoric heart-warming synth chords, joined by the breaksy, lively percussion, simultaneously creating an upbeat dance track with a tinkle of melancholy, expressing the emotional range suggested by the title.
