Bounded Festival: Sheffield’s open air grass roots festival 4th May Bank holiday Sunday

This Bank Holiday Sunday, Sheffield’s Steelyard is set to transform into a high-energy container-built utopia of sound and celebration as Bounded Festival returns. This year promises to be bolder, louder, and more ambitious than anything the city has seen.
If you were at last year’s Bank Holiday parties, you’ll know Steelyard is more than just a venue. It is a reimagined industrial playground made entirely from shipping containers, offering a raw open-air setting that has become a cornerstone of Sheffield’s grassroots rave culture. But this time around, Bounded Fesitval is taking things to the next level.

Four stages. Over 45 DJs. Two rooftop bars. One giant courtyard!
What began as a celebration of underground music has quickly become one of Sheffield’s most anticipated electronic events. On Sunday 4th May, ravers can expect a full day and night of music curated by some of the city’s most exciting local crews, along with a roster of rising talent from across Sheffield and a headline performance from artist / musician Nick Spencer on the open air main stage.

The energy is set to be electric. Picture sunshine above, basslines rolling through shipping container walls, street food stalls lining the perimeter, and thousands of ravers moving between immersive stages and elevated viewpoints. This is not just a party. It is an experience built from the ground up.
With only a limited number of final release tickets left, this is your last chance to be part of something that is fast becoming a staple of Sheffield’s music scene. The forecast is sunny, the lineup is stacked, and the venue is ready to come alive.
