Ben Hemsley Announces Brand New “Intimacy” Tour

House Music DJ and producer Ben Hemsley announced via Instagram on Thursday he is launching a brand-new event series, Intimacy. The Newcastle based artist has played at some of the biggest venues across the country and has broken records for selling them out in rapid time. However, Intimacy will see Ben’s return to intimate venues, stripped back, back to basics with no visual effects. Just the crowd, Ben and the Music.

The first three shows have been announced in Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow through February and early March, at a secret warehouse in Manchester, Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire and Glasgow’s famous Sub Club; with more dates to be announced. The tour will also support the venues, and their vital role in UK club culture, particularly in these post-pandemic times and with the current state of club and nightlife culture.

Ben has had enormous success over the past year, having played to a 45 thousand capacity crowd at Creamfields’ mainstage last summer, his Warehouse Project night which sold out in just five minutes, and his On the Waterfront Liverpool headline show to over twelve thousand people. He now wants to give back to the smaller venues where he first started out. ‘I honestly can’t wait for this!’  Says Ben.
