This edition of Tribal Tracks: New Releases features techno, house and breakbeat tracks, from artists both well known and on their way to achieve great things.

Klangkuenstler ‘Weltschmerz’

First this week is the new single Weltschmerz from German techno DJ, Klangkuenstler. The single features two monstrous tracks (Weltschmerz and Untergang) of soaring BPM. This is wall thumping techno at its finest. There’s no messing about with Weltschmerz, as both tracks immediately throws you right in the deep end as a listener. Having said that, Klangkuenstler needs no introduction. One of the biggest names in the genre now, he has become renowned for his ferocity in terms of production.

Hector Oaks ‘TRACK ID?’

Next up is the Madrid born, Berlin based mullet-bearing Hector Oaks. DJ, Producer and label head Hector is also a trained sound engineer; which goes hand in hand with his ability to produce dancefloor weaponry. Track ID features a rattling intro and a heavy bassline throughout.

Slam ‘Scourge’ EP

Also recently released is Glaswegian duo, Slam’s latest EP, Scourge on their label, Soma. The EP is three tracks of pure madness: Deflect, The Passage and Scourge. Slam have once again delivered with this EP, featuring radioactive synths, hypnotic percussion and thrashing drums.

Mr Sosa ‘True

Mr Sosa is one of my favourite, most anticipated up and coming artists and out today is his brand new single, True on label Needwant. It is a dance anthem and features organ and breaks, as well as vocals from Tasty Lopez who has also featured on tracks such as Mark Knight’s All 4 Love. A great collaboration from them both here.

Franky Wah, Lowes ‘Not In Love’

Not In Love is the latest single from Yorkshire man Franky Wah, released today, featuring hypnotic vocals from LOWES. The stunningly euphoric track has also been selected as “The Hottest Record In The World” on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio1 show for this evening’s show at 6PM, for which he will also be doing a 30 minute mini mix. Another amazing up and coming artists in the dance scene, Franky has also announced a series of live tour dates for October this year.

Levi David ‘Colours In The Sky’

Up and coming artist, DJ and Producer Levi David’s new track, Colours In The Sky is his latest single, released today on Berlin based label Steyoyke. Stoke-On-Trent born and bred produces tracks of the breakbeat variety and melodic ambience is a significant theme throughout his works. For fans of: Bicep, Hammer.

Deborah De Luca ‘Piano’

This is the second feature for Italian Deborah De Luca, with her latest single, Piano. the track begins with some Tubular Bells-esque piano and goes straight into a deep bassline to bring six minutes and 28 seconds of eerie techno.
