This editions’ new releases feature more melodic and harder hitting heavier tracks, all of which you can find on our Tribal Tracks: New Releases playlist on Spotify.

Isopolis – Kölsch – First up is the brand new EP from Danish DJ and producer, Kolsch. The eight track EP was produced and inspired by the isolations of lockdown. “Isopolis is an audio diary of a city in lockdown; forced slowmotion decay with it’s lifeless streets begging for the soft steps of shoes. Air longing to be inhaled. Buildings frozen in time” – says Kölsch. Released today on his label, IPSO Records, the EP is incredibly moving, with haunting instrumentals that fit perfectly with the theme of loneliness and isolation.

Weightless (DJ Seinfeld Remix) – Ben Bohmer, Panama – DJ Seinfeld has released his own remix of Weightless by Ben Bohmer and Panama on Future Classic Records. Compared with the original, which is another melodic track, Seinfeld has added his own signature twist on Weightless and has made it more of an up beat track with a bit more of a bang. The piano house sounds in this track compliment it really nicely and give it that club banger feel.

Beyond – Deborah De Luca – Beyond is the latest single from Italian DJ and producer Deborah De Luca. It is a techno track that features deep acid and a sample from Beyonce’s Crazy in Love – which actually work really well together. This is definitely one of her heavier releases and it will be great to hear this played at a rave when they’re back on.

Make it Stay – Lauer, Dena – The new single from Lauer, Make it Stay, features vocals from Berlin based pop singer Dena on Permanent Vacation Records. Taken from his upcoming EP, Answers to Trouble, the track has very much of an 80’s disco type feel to it, and is very catchy. It is certainly a great taster for the new EP.

Vox Cycle EP – Hammer – Next up is Rory Hamilton aka Hammer’s most recent EP, Vox Cycle on label Unknown to the Unknown. The three track EP consists of non stop electronic madness and is a great selection of tracks. These sounded incredible on his warm up set for Bicep’s live stream at the Saatchi gallery last month and I can’t wait to hear these in a club.

Voiski, Hadone – On The Edge of Adhesion EP – On The Edge of Adhesion is the new EP from two of the best techno DJ’s in the scene: Voiski and Hadone. Trance meets techno on this four track EP released on Voltage Imprint, packed full of energy and high BPM.

Rebel Yell – MRD – Finally we have Norweigan techno DJ and producer MRD’s new single which is a cover of Billy Idol’s 80’s rock anthem, Rebel Yell. This is one of my favourite rock songs, so it was amazing to hear a new, dance version of the song. The track features MRD’s own vocals, and shows both his musical ability and knowledge, and I love his take on blending multiple genres together.
